The brief was to accompany a fundraising campaign with animated social content. This content had to create awareness for the charity and the impact its service had on the people who were a part of it, whilst aiming to increase regular monthly donations to the charity.
The visual style of the animations was to reflect the younger aspect of the charity. The abstract elements help represent emotion and mental health. We use the Allsorts colour palette but included the yellow to compliment the pink/purple colour palette. Using the contrasting colour to create a focal point for key messages throughout the videos. We also included the colours from the Trans and LGBTQ+ flags, to ensure the audience instantly associated the video and charity with the LGBTQ+ community.
The outcome of this project was the five animated videos, rendered with subtitles in three formats to enable the content to be seen over multiple platforms and be accessible.
