Our Culture

Whether you’re an animal lover, foodie, explorer, film buff or gamer, we’ll get along just fine! Our team is full of big personalities, niche interests, bad jokes and good times. Self-confessed marketing nerds, we’re brought together by our shared passion for innovation, data, creative strategies…and our pets, of course!

Socials: We love celebrating everything, big and small, together. Our Culture Committee plans awesome seasonal socials, from camping trips to theme park adventures. Every month, we have ‘Show & Tells’ to share our big wins, and we make the most of early finish Fridays—like heading to the beach in the summer to soak up the Brighton sunshine!

Continuous Development: We’re all about being the best and staying ahead of the curve! Partnered with giants like Google, Facebook, Amazon our team learns from the top experts and keeps the knowledge flowing through fun weekly training sessions like Data & Doughnuts, Muffins & Media, and Coffee & Creative and monthly internal SpArke Sessions where we knowledge share and even feature special guests such as our media partners so the whole team benefits from any latest developments!

Community: From day one, Arke has founded itself on community. Arke are proud Living Wage Employers and is part of the Endometriosis Friendly Employer Scheme. With a designated Culture Committee in only seven years we have worked on over 10 passion projects for local and national community causes that align with our values, such as the AllSorts Youth Project and the Human Dignity Project. As well as all employees receiving two paid volunteering days a year to support causes that matter to them, we have two charity partners we work with:

Volunteering Charity Partner: We have chosen national mental health and suicide prevention charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) as our volunteering partner, supporting them by providing time whenever we can.

Fundraising Charity Partner: For our fundraising partner, we have chosen Endometriosis UK. As one of only 0.05 businesses in the UK signed up to the Endometriosis Friendly Employer Scheme, we are passionate about raising vital funds to increase awareness and funding for this charity that supports the 1 in 10 people assigned female at birth with the condition.

Our Arkenauts are a fantastic crew of unique individuals who team up to discover creative problem-solving methods and deliver top-notch integrated solutions.

Steph set up Arke to take on the big challenges that face marketers. Our boutique and agile agency’s goal is to achieve our clients' long term growth plans. Like most agencies she set the business up to provide strategic consultancy and creatively execute plans, however, our point of difference is the human relationships we invest in and the competitive culture we embrace to drive results for our clients.

She’s proud Arke has become a 6 time-award-winning agency in Brighton in only 7 years!

Founder & CEO

Alex is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the company, overseeing all operational and financial aspects, and ensuring sustainable business growth. He leads the executive team in developing and implementing strategic plans, manages key stakeholder relationships, and drives organisational performance. With extensive global experience across all marketing verticals, he excels at aligning our strategic delivery teams to address business challenges. His leadership ensures continual service improvement and success in our go-to-market strategy.

Ollie is an experienced Account Director at Arke, providing strategic consultancy and working closely with clients and delivery teams to achieve fantastic results.

Ollie is driven by both creative and strategic solutions to maximise ROI for large-scale campaigns all whilst singing a fews tunes along the way.

Emily is an experienced Account Director with over 8 years of experience in digital marketing in tech. She came from a background in PR and digital marketing but over recent years specialised in digital strategy and is passionate about full-funnel marketing campaigns driven by data insights.

As Senior Account Manager at Arke, Panida works closely with clients to understand their business and marketing objectives and with over 8 years experience in business and project management she ensures the delivery of results.

Panida is driven by creative solutions which maximise ROI through agile account management for large-scale campaigns.

Panida Staplehurt (She/Her)

Senior Account Manager

As Arke’s Head of Paid Media, Jon will be responsible for managing, developing, and implementing paid media strategies for our clients, along with the Paid Media team. With a strong understanding of in-house processes, operations, and data utilisation, he is well-equipped to personalise and customise his approach to meet each client’s unique needs.

Jon’s vision is to elevate Arke’s Paid Media offerings even further - ensuring our clients stay ahead in a competitive landscape!

Sam is our Senior Paid Media Executive who works closely with our Paid Media Lead, Ross. Currently completing his marketing apprenticeship with us, Sam helps to build and implement paid media campaigns, report on results and optimise our approach for maximum results.

Ross is our Paid Media Lead. Ross has a background in digital marketing and works alongside the other members of the Paid Media team to build, optimise and report on paid media campaigns for our clients.

Ross Thorpe (He/Him)

As Digital & Analytics Lead James helps shape our client’s data strategies. From building initial measurement frameworks, to bespoke dashboards, and everything in between he’s our analytical wizard. 

With over 6 years experience in agencies, and a background in paid media, he’s always keen to lend his expertise to any problem.

James Seddon (He/Him)

Analytics and Digital Lead

As Arke's Head of Creative, Matt's focus is on creating work that wows our clients and aligns with their values and aspirations. He's got a wide breadth of experience in design, illustration and animation that's seen his work appear on everything from pants to TVs.

As well as heading up the creative department he also gets stuck into workshops and ideation sessions, so gets through a lot of post-its and sharpies.

As our resident graphic designer, Blair is a multidisciplinary creative whose work spans across both the physical and digital world.

He is fascinated by the possibilities of art and design creating a lasting impact on peoples lives.

Through lots of creative thinking and a little bit of elbow grease, he believes the sky’s the limit!

With over a decade of experience, Lydia is the mastermind behind our marketing magic. She drives the strategic growth of our department, manages our brand's evolution, and helps to fuel our sales team’s success.

Lydia has a knack for growing brands and captivating new audiences with her innovative, out-of-the-box techniques.

Together with her trusty sidekick Hector the Bulldog, they’re always on the lookout for the next big thing in the digital marketing world!

Head of Marketing

Sasha is our go-to person for crafting compelling narratives, managing our brand image, and creating engaging content across all platforms. Her skills lie in brand management and content creation with a passion for immersing herself in the brand and taking its content to the next level.

She has a background working in media and is a qualified English teacher with superb copywriting skills – top marks all around! Sasha is our social media superstar with experience in internal and external communication and video editing.

Sasha Klepitskaya (She/Her)

Brand and Content Marketing Executive

As Brand and Content Marketing Executive, Kim oversees our social media presence, brand management, and content strategy. Working closely with our Head of Marketing, Lydia, she also works with other team members to champion all their amazing hard work!

Kim comes from an academic background in Media and Communications and combines her love for data with a creative edge to elevate our brand and content.

Brand and Content Marketing Executive

Our Senior Operations Executive Elif works directly with everyone at Arke to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations. Elif plans and executes Arke’s activities, ensuring the team stays on task and on track. She also chairs our Culture Committee, set up to form our charity partnerships, giving back to our communities and manage all of Arke's internal and external initiatives.
