Salary: £26,000 per annum

Please note: this is a 12 month maternity cover role

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketer ready to take the next steps in their marketing career. You will be a naturally creative thinker, with a keen business sense, and an innovative strategist with a desire to use out-of-the-box ideas to help push Arke to the forefront of our target audience and represent our brand. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for helping to grow Arke’s brand awareness, enacting and adding to our marketing strategy, driving new business, creating and implementing campaign plans and spreading the word about our awesome work as well as supporting on exciting brand campaigns for clients across a variety of industries. 

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to get hands-on experience in marketing, grow their skills and actively contribute and lead on campaigns.

About you: 

  • You will be a recent graduate or junior marketer with 1-2 years experience in roles such as Marketing Assistant or Junior Content Executive
  • You have a passion for marketing and are ready to progress your career to the next steps
  • You keep up to date with the latest marketing news, trends and media
  • You have experience creating content for social media, writing blogs or news, and other content marketing experience
  • You have used marketing systems platforms such as; Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Adobe, Social Media Management Tools such as Hootsuite/Sprout Social/Buffer, CMS systems such as WordPress, and email marketing tools such as Mailchimp/Brevo
  • You have some experience coming up with campaign ideas and producing content for this
  • You are able to create content to a specific brief, objective and KPI, showcasing its effectiveness 
  • You use data to regularly inform what you do and are able to produce reports and evaluate marketing success based on this
  • You are an exceptional copywriter who loves to tell stories 
  • You are a creative thinker and strategist who always thinks outside the box and takes in the bigger picture for a more strategic approach
  • You have brilliant internal communication skills and can manage relationships with different stakeholders
  • You understand the basics of branding and brand management such as working to brand guidelines and tone-of-voice documents

Responsible for:

  • Take charge of the creation and implementation of content marketing campaign plans for the management of content channels, monitoring and evaluating these 
  • Be the champion of the Arke brand: taking ownership of our main touchpoints: website, social media and email content 
  • Own the delivery of content and brand marketing deliverables such as monthly marketing newsletters, reports, blogs, web updates and more
  • Not afraid to be innovative, keeping content on trend, up to date and bring new ideas to the table – your voice will always be heard
  • Proactively managing the Arke website, updating content, including the creation of landing pages 
  • Support in organising in-person events, including promotion, planning, attendance, execution and follow-up comms
  • Enact a killer strategy for social media, including Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube for Arke and client brands 
  • Creating content for the website and social media that aligns with your strategy and our core brand pillars using Adobe Suite and Canva
  • Manage the continual updating and creation of new client case studies and the distribution of these
  • Work with the Head of Marketing and Sales team to deliver an annual marketing strategy and feed into this with sub-platform strategies and evaluation via reports
  • Monitor marketing activity and analyse effectiveness, suggesting new ideas based on evaluation 
  • Conduct regular market and competitor research to make sure we are ahead of the game and always proactive not reactive
  • Use your talent for storytelling to help in the writing of tenders
