    Salary: £35-45,000 DOE

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the planning, delivery and reporting of department including:
      • Concept & branding
      • Production of design and animation/video projects
      • Copywriting
      • Creative strategy & planning
      • Content strategies and execution (inc. organic socials, PR, blogs & email)
    • Create and execute a strategy for the creative & content department which enables Arke to achieve it’s goals & report on this monthly in SMT meetings
    • Lead on the creative strategy/approach for prospects and clients which are dynamic and achieve client goals and objectives
    • Deliver inspiring and energised pitches to take clients on a journey through striking creative and exceptional narrative which is then delivered in line with briefing and scoping of works
    • Input into pricing strategies to reduce scope creep and reduce increased client costsDocument external costs and incorporate this into budget planning for clients
    • Plan capacity effectively to understand resource requirements and inform sales/bookings, recruitment/planned for overtime
    • Report on project delivery understanding areas to improve with solutions & areas of success
    • Lead on quality assurance for all outputs from the department
    • Ensure best practice and innovation is applied to projects and the teams capabilities
    • Plan for new developments with a clear roadmap, which is costed and against timelines
    • Identify the skills required in the department to inform team growth through recruitment and training
    • Motivate the team to reach company, departmental and personal goals
    • Write job descriptions and manage the recruitment process for the team with Operations
    • Build relationships with suppliers, clients and industry experts to position Arke’s Creative and content services as innovative and delivered by thought leaders
    • Ensure Arke has; access to, and, the team are trained on the relevant tools required to deliver high quality production plans, projects and campaigns
    • Present at industry events showcasing Arke’s expertise
    • Work with marketing and senior management team to establish Arke’s USPs and communicate these consistently and effectively
    • Identify opportunities to stretch Arke’s creativity and increase the desirability of our creative department

    • Create a culture of creativity and inspiration.
    • Effectively manage people by building a high-quality working relationship with your team, providing a blend of support, development and performance management that enables individuals to work at their best.
    • Create a progression and training structure alongside salary brackets annually ensuring Arke are fair payers & the department has a motivated team striving for progression.
    • Effectively recruit and select staff in line with Arke’s recruitment and selection processes, ensuring that their individual values and behaviours align with the values of Arke.
    • Have a style of people management that is consistent with the Arke’s people management policy and ensures that all the required processes including induction, PDPs and ongoing one to ones are in place.
    • Ensure that relevant systems are in place and actively contribute to effective communication within the team and with others across the company.
    • Ensure that software and systems are utilised for the benefit of the wider team, management team and leadership team.
    • Effectively manage project/business performance by planning, coordinating, delivering, evaluating and communicating as appropriate.

    Strategic Leadership

    • Create annual creative and content budget for learning & development, tools/technology and events
    • Demonstrate effective leadership consistent with the Arke’s values and its wider work on thought leadership in the marketing industry.
    • Actively learn and develop to stay up to date with developments and trends and to meet the changing needs of the job, team and Arke by participating in relevant events and appropriate learning activities.
    • Encourage and support the development of others, the team and Arke by engaging in and contributing to Arke as a learning company and to its positive enthusiastic culture.
    • Represent the team and Arke in a professional and positive manner with both internal and external stakeholders and in doing so reflects the values of the company.
    • Ensure compliance with Arke’s policies, procedures and contract of employment.
